What time of day would we take pics?
I truly love anytime of day. Direct sun is some of my favorite light!
The most "popular" time of day is golden hour - about 1-1.5 hours before sunset. The light is STUNNING! Otherwise, if we need to get creative with time we can find a location that offers great light too! I
Where should we take photos?
Every family is different, which is why your location should feel like it belongs to you. For Memories Sessions, we’ll choose a place where your family can simply be yourselves — whether that’s at home, exploring a favorite outdoor spot, or somewhere that holds a special memory!
For Portrait Sessions, I have a collection of thoughtfully chosen locations around Snohomish County that photograph beautifully in every season. I’ll guide you toward the best fit based on your family, your vision, and the style of images you love.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?

Normally my turnaround time for a regular session about 3 weeks and you also get some sneak peeks for full sessions!
For weddings it can take up to 10 weeks - with having so many more photos to go through it can take a bit longer!
I loveeee letting kids be kids. And am fully expecting them to act their age :)
Your kids don’t have to be perfectly behaved for us to create beautiful images. Some of the most meaningful moments happen in the in-between — the giggles, the wiggles, the silly faces, and even the moments when they need a little extra patience.
My goal isn’t to force your children into a picture-perfect version of themselves. I’ll guide you through the session with prompts, games, and gentle direction while allowing your kids space to be exactly who they are. The “real” moments are often the ones you’ll treasure most.
What should we wear?
Upon booking, I will send over my client guide built for each type of session with tips for styling and color combos.
I love color, I love pieces that you can move and be comfortable in, clothes that feel like you and not a rush online order panicking the day before. We will work together to create a look that is perfect for you and your family.
Do you travel?
I currently don't travel super far out of my local bubble! Sessions include 25 miles roundtrip from the location to my home, and anything extra is charged per mile ($1 per mile extra). I love traveling and love being able to take trips with my family so if you have a spot in mind, don't hesitate to ask!
On the location guide that I send out, it has pricing for each spot as well as local favorites that are included for no extra :)
What if it rains?
A veryyyy common weather type here in Washington State. I always am down to shoot through any weather but ALSO totally understand if that is not your vibe. There is no rescheduling fee, just subject to availability on my end.
